Okay so after what feels like a sabbatical I finally feel I have the time to write up my Black Friday blog post. So unfortunately I have been studying for what feels like years so I didn’t get to make it into the malls this year. That did not stop me however and I turned to the next worst thing- online shopping. I won’t talk much and just jump straight into my haul. I was happy with many of the deals that the stores had put out, unfortunately my credit card and my mom were not. Keep scrolling to see the damage that was done last week.
Metallic Skirt: Dynamite
I am not usually a huge fan of metallics but always admire them on others so I figured why not give it a shot. The pleated detailing was also another big selling point. With the holiday season fast approaching I felt this skirt would make for a fun holiday look.
Cami: Dynamite
The color of this cami had me sold instantly. The material is amazing and the lace detailing really gives it some character. To be honest though this could have been a plain tank and I would’ve bought it strictly for the color. OBSESSED!
Romper: Dynamite
Ahh mesh, mesh and more mesh. That’s about all I have to say about this romper and pretty much what had me sold on it was the mesh detailing.
Romper: Dynamite
Well apparently one romper isn’t enough, Dynamite why are you doing this to me! This piece looked perfect for the holiday season so I decided to pick it up; I hope I end up having enough holiday parties to wear all these clothes too…
Bodysuit: Dynamite
Although this bodysuit isn’t the best material, when I tried it on I instantly fell in love. I am excited to mix some textures and create some fun outfits with this piece.
Boots: Aldo
Okay I really did not need another pair of boots BUT I did not have a camel pair so it seemed like a great idea and let me say I got these at a great price. The cut out detailing is so simple but adds so much to this pair. Love them!
Suede Dress: Aritzia
Unfortunately the dress I had initially ordered was not quite the color that I was anticipating but nonetheless I still love the simplicity of this dress so I went back and exchanged it for this color. Suede is one of my favorite materials so I was half sold there and the baggy nature of this dress which will help hide holiday pounds sold me the other 50%. Another plus was this dress was 50% off so cha ching! (The picture definitely does not do this dress justice)
Chokers: Dynamite
Of course with all these clothes some accessories are also necessary. A huge trend right now is chokers so obviously I had to jump on that bandwagon. These cute simple ones from Dynamite are perfect to add a little excitement to any outfit.
Skirt: Boohoo
This skirt I got before Black Friday but thought I should talk about anyways because it is perfect for the holiday season. The rich maroon color along with the textured pattern made this skirt hard to pass up.
Make Up For Ever Palette: Sephora
Of course along with my closet I need to make sure my vanity is nice and stocked up so I ordered this new eyeshadow palette. If you follow me on Instagram/know me personally, you know the last thing I need is another eye shadow palette BUT since it was on at such a great price and also includes some great colors I couldn’t pass up the opportunity #easilyconvincedproblems.
Well I feel like I didn’t do TOO much damage this Black Friday but just to think that Boxing Day for us Canadians is not too far has me worried. Anyways I hope you enjoyed some of the new additions to my closet and hope you also found some great deals on Black Friday. Now that exams are done I am sure I will be able to harass everyone with some more blog posts than usual but until then I hope you all are having a great start to the holiday season <3.
