The Euro Experience

Earlier this year I had the amazing opportunity to travel to Europe. Honestly till this day I look at pictures to remind myself of the places I went to because it all still seems so surreal. Europe is exactly how one imagines it, amazing monuments, tons of history and of course the most up to date fashion trends. This trip was absolutely a dream come true and I am thankful to my friend for inviting me along. The overwhelming experience cannot be captured in pictures (of course I still took tons). If someone were to ask me my favorite part of the trip I’d have a hard time choosing. I mean really how does one choose from seeing the Colosseum where gladiators fought for blood, riding the gondola through the Venice canals, or taking the typical touristy photos against the Leaning Tower of Pisa and I mean I could go on. But really if I had to pick a city that I had the most fun in it would have to be Barcelona. The modern touch to this city while still maintaining the European culture was most appealing to me. I could’ve easily spent another week in Barcelona and will definitely be heading back there as there is copious amounts of things to do and see.

Well since this is a fashion blog let’s talk fashion. Prior to traveling to Europe I shopped till I dropped. Literally my whole suitcase going with me was full of new clothes (many still had their tags on them too). Really though I just need any excuse to shop and this seemed like a pretty legitimate reason. Of course you always hear about it and see it in the movies but traveling to Europe really made me realize how fashion forward the continent is. Getting the opportunity to shop at stores that don’t exist for us in Canada was a whole other experience. Of course between all the sightseeing it was difficult to make time for shopping. That didn’t stop me though, I felt like a child in a candy store- walking into stores that you know you can’t afford and just gawking at all the amazing fashion trends. I plan to travel to Europe once again to learn more about their fashion industry and to indulge more in their latest fashion trends. Anyways I’ll leave you with that and some of the highlights of my trip- outfits and otherwise. Ciao for now ❤
