Flare Out

Well it seems like an eternity since my last outfit post but I finally finished all my courses for my Masters (woo woo). That is such a load off me right now and I am really going to enjoy these few weeks off before practicum starts. Post the completion of my course I had a busy weekend which included a bridal shower and a birthday dinner. Of course most of the outfits I wear are posted on my Instagram account (@fromnehascloset) but for this post I will talk about the outfit I wore to my friend’s birthday dinner. For this particular outfit, I decided to try something quite different than what I am used to. As I mentioned in my first post, my mom gets extremely frustrated with the amount of money I spend on clothes BUT she also is the first to buy me new things. Hypocritical? Yes. Am I complaining? Not at all! Anyways my mom picked up this pair of pants for me and I was quite skeptical even when I tried them on as they are extremely wide legged. The skepticism didn’t last long once I found the perfect shirt to go with it. These pants were all kinds of awesome and even made me look taller (always a win!). I paired this outfit with neutral BCBG heels that I picked up in Vegas and my camel Michael Kors crossbody bag. This helped neutralize the outfit as a whole. Overall totally loved this outfit and loved trying something different 🙂
